EAM Consultant (Infor EAM)

Toronto, ON

Contract Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory Management, GIS, Preventative Maintenance, Planning and Procurement
  • Infor EAM 11+ Certificate or other EAM training is an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in Work and Asset management implementation projects
  • 3+ years working knowledge and ability to evaluate and document business workflows, procedures, roles and responsibilities, integration and data conversion strategies
  • Demonstrated experience to lead the functional requirements definition process, analyze, document and translate requirements relative to the design and development for a work management system, its functionality and architecture.
  • Experience developing Work and Asset Management job plans and work flow procedures
  • Experience with business requirements gathering and use cases  Expert knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management system, asset and work management lifecycle (1 – 3 years)
  • Experience configuring Infor EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) to support work, asset and inventory management processes
  • Experience working in various manufacturing, public and transit sectors
  • Available to travel in Canada and/or US for short and long periods

ERP Consultant (Infor LN)
Toronto, ON

Contract Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation of Infor ERP LN software including the following activities (Data Migration, System Configuration, Training, Software Testing, Support)
  • Act as subject matter expert for all aspects of ERP LN
  • Analyze business processes and convert them into clear process models and process documentation
  • Lead workshops to gather requirements and convert into use case, training instructions and departmental practices
  • Develop functional software design documents and work with developers in production of technical design documents
  • Plan and participate in Use Case analysis, System Integration testing and User Acceptance testing with the business users to ensure a high quality delivery of software updates and process changes
  • Provide status reports to the executive sponsor or other stakeholders as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Infor LN (Manufacturing and Distribution are must; Finance is an asset)
  • Experience in gathering requirements and preparing business documentation
  • Strong analytical problem solving and investigative ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable with SQL queries and report development (MS SQL SSRS, PowerBI, Cognos)
  • Project Management experience (PMP nice to have)

We are looking for a results oriented Baan ERP Business Systems Analyst to support our fast paced, data driven company.

The Baan Business System Analyst will be responsible for providing business leaders with timely, relevant financial and operational information while actively supporting the company’s IT systems. By working closely with department managers, this key position will understand the key drivers, deliver the tools necessary to measure performance, analyze gaps, and measure the impact of improvement.

Responsibilities

Work closely with management to create, distribute and analyze operational and financial reports and metrics through queries, reports, programming changes, and detailed analysis.

  • Provide intelligence, analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects by providing intelligence, analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Act as the system administrator and subject matter expert for the BAAN ERP and other business systems if required. This includes leveraging our ERP’s functionality to drive productivity improvements throughout the business.
  • Maintain the company’s IT infrastructure through a combination of direct support as well as partner relationships.
  • Assist users in process documentation.

Requirements

We’re looking for a Web Applications Developer in North York, ON. The Developer will report to Director, Business Applications and will work within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Development of quality web-based business applications within the specified time-frame, exemplifying good coding practice based on industry coding standards and best practices
  • Evaluating and analyzing requirements and estimating work effort
  • Ensuring integral development documentation (Requirements, Functional & Technical Design, Test Cases, Use Cases, etc.) following the established project documentation strategy
  • Ensuring excellent unit testing and mitigating any code issues
  • Successfully deploying solutions to QA and production environments ensuring proper documentation is in place and the repository is kept current
  • Supporting and maintaining existing applications
  • Aiding the Manager to evaluating the priorities and technical implications of requests presented to the group
  • Working collaboratively with other team members
  • Provide tier-2 support to Incidents raised as part of the Service Desk procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements and / or design specifications from the BA to deliver optimal application code. Unit-Test developed applications. Make recommendations to optimize design and business processes.
  • Work within the company PMO framework on approved projects, adopting technologies (as directed by the IT strategy / framework) to support the business strategy.
  • Using a “best of breed” and a “standards” based philosophy; provide technology solutions for business applications. Work within the I.T. strategy e.g. web centric architecture, service-oriented architecture, n-tiering.
  • Work with the established software tools and processes to produce Business Application Solutions that are governed by the established development framework

  • Develop applications using established developmental frameworks internal as well as external / open-source

Qualifications
